Young African Leader...Rachel

I met Rachel Chavula Sibanda (Malawi) yesterday,who is one of a 60-member delegation, who are in this country as a part of the Innovation Summit and Mentoring Partnership with Young African Leaders, hosted by the State Department.

I have never felt more uplifted or positive about the future of Africa in the hands of these amazing young African leaders.

"Breakfast with Tiffany"

On my way to my son's apartment yesterday morning ... this little dog "Tiffany" ran up to me ... I didn't see who she belonged to until "Lavania" said "Oh my god, I saw you walking up the sidewalk & thought you were Audrey Hepburn ... I got both of them to flash their best "OK sign" ... This is pretty serendipitous since I have been working on coming up with a list of the 8 people (7 women & one man) who I never met (living, dead or imaginary) who I would want to sit in my 8 chairs to discuss life, love & longing & Audrey Hepburn is currently one of my 8 !

Soul Sister!

Four years ago today, my sister Sue & I started out on our 49 day road trip...The Being OK Tour...following in our grandpa, OK Zufall's footsteps that he had traveled 100 years before. The picture attached is from the wedding of my cousin Bob Blakesley to Shirley (our Soul Sister) ... Today is their 30th anniversary & as you can see.
